Officially formed in 2024, Nullscore is far from a rookie band. Behind their name lies over 15 years of shared musical experience a brotherhood forged through sound, pain, and purpose.
The name Nullscore speaks to a deeper truth: the feeling of emptiness, of being “zeroed out,” that so many people silently carry. This concept became painfully real after the tragic loss of one of their founding members to depression. That moment changed everything. The band paused, grieved, and chose to rise again this time with a mission that transcends music.
Their signature look hyper-realistic oni masks, cracked and horned is not a gimmick. It’s a statement. A symbol of the internal demons we all face. The masks don’t hide who they are; they reveal what many try to suppress: the silent struggle against mental illness, the battle waged in the shadows.
Musically, Nullscore blends crushing guitar work, immersive dark tones, and lyrics that speak from within the storm. Each song is a window into the mind of someone facing depression and anxiety not from a place of pity, but with raw honesty. From haunting lows to faint glimmers of light, their music creates space for both darkness and survival.

Shadow Inside is the opening chapter of Nullscore’s new EP a powerful and emotionally charged release that serves as the heart of the band’s campaign to raise awareness about depression and mental health.
